Studio Downstairs is a place where:

Who is eligible?

You may become a member  if you are 18 years of age or older, have an interest in making art and being part of our community. You are welcome to join us if you have experienced emotional problems, which may have made it difficult to live as fulfilling a life as you would like.

Why should I join?

·          To experience the challenge and satisfaction of creating things with your own hands

·          To feel better about yourself and your relationships

What is expected of me as a member?

·          Initial three-month commitment to being a member

·          Regular attendance

·          Attendance at monthly Forum meetings where we discuss Studio related matters

·          Respect for others and their working environment

·          Responsibility for cleaning up your materials and workspace

How do I join?

You may mail or fax us the initial application form. We will call you back to schedule a time to meet with you.

How much does it cost?

Fees are on a sliding scale and determined on an individual basis.  Health  insurance may cover part of the costs of Studio Downstairs. In special circumstances, the minimum fee may be adjusted.

·          A supervised, spacious and well-equipped art studio

Our community  is guided by artists and expressive arts therapists  who receive ongoing training and supervision to ensure the highest quality of experience
